Subject: sweet set
yeah this is a great Confrontation>RLH!

also excellent versions of ATW & Tunnel

very melodic, fast paced with peaks and valleys.

just classic old school biscuits

Subject: Confrontation
Sure it has a somewhat flat sound, but this show is hot. The Confrontation is the best ever imo. Barber simply shreds coming out of the RLH. Gotta love the fist pumping fall '01.

Subject: Arrigato, Disco Biscuits!
The sound of this show is decent, but not up there with Haymaker or the Whiskey or Mish or any of a number of other shows. However, do yourself a favor and download the Confron>RLH>tation sandwich from this show. There are actually four distinct jams in this sequence (one for Confrontation that peaks and drops into a spacey jam that then builds into a RLH intro jam, then another in the middle of RLH, and then the Confrontation ending), and each one of them gets the blood racing. This sequence is fast, and hot, and very danceable. Then there is a very uptempo AtW (though it doesn't really do that much but be very, very fast) and a soothing, melodic, well-jammed Tunnel. The MEMPHIS rocks out before dropping directly into a RLH jam again which brings the whole set to a very nice close, albeit definitely not as good as it started.

All in all, this show is one of the best festival sets the band has ever played...it's a shame more Americans weren't there to witness it or that the Biscuits haven't been back to Japan since, because this is exactly the kind of intense show that wins over fans.
